Siberian Husky Puppies Scam

Hello Everyone,

Below, are two emails my Husband and I received for two Siberian Husky Puppies. They would have had us had we not asked for photo identification. We then typed in their phone number and found out they were on a land line in Las Vegas, NV but they were claiming the puppies were with them in MN. We were very suspicious and found this wonderful website via a Google Search. Many of the posts were of the exact same nature and words as this scam. friendly with kids and other home pets.They have a good temperament

She gets angry when you shout at her,

About Phil The Male :
He is 11 weeks 4 days old
He is house and potty Trained.
He barks more than Stella but not to much
He eats 2 times a day and drinks milk at noon.
He likes to keep him self away from the crowd but is also socialized
He's also a portable baby.
He barks when he sees strangers.

We are going to be shipping our puppies with the following items.
-A year health guarantee
-AKC registration papers
-Pedigree papers
-Vet record
-Care & Diet Sheets
-Puppy toys

We can assure you that you will not need much training for them.We
have been looking for a good home for our puppies and we have had many
contacts,but we have to be careful so we make a proper selection. we
just relocated to our new home in Minneapolis,MN . I am 38 years old
and I work for a pharmaceutical company while my wife is a nurse at a
private hospital here.

These Puppies are very lonely now because our jobs have been very
demanding of late due to change in our working time schedule and we
can not keep them home any longer, because we have no time to take
good care of them like we used to and to give them the love and care
they deserve. So my wife and i have decided to give them up to
another pet loving home.

We are going to be very happy if we can find love and protection
for the puppies in your home.Please get back to us as soon as possible
if you are interested so we can make all arrangements for the puppies

with your e-mails and interest you got for my pups.I am deeply happy
that you are really ready to give to one of our pup all the love and
care they will need .My pups are so lovely with kids and other home
pet and very fast in making new friends .I promise you this, Phil/
Stella are going to be a good companion to your family and you will
never regret making them part of your home cuz of their affectionate
and lovely characters . I will have to go get Phil/Stella registered
and deposited at the most reliable and fast pets delivery agency for
delivery over to you .Once i am done with their flight registration
,the delivery agency will contact you with more details on the flight
such as the flight ,departure and arrival time .The change of
ownership shall also be processed which i will send to you to sign
which you shall have to send a copy of the signed document to the
delivery agency ,to me and one to the Ministry of livestock ok. All i
will be needing to proceed will be your full delivery address which i
will use in doing Phil/Stella's flight registration under your names
and info's as the receiver and also for the transfer of
ownership.Below are the details require from you to proceed with
everything so Phil/Stella can be on flight over to you.

use in sending the deposit payment of $400 for both pups .So u need to
send over the money immediately after signing the ownership document
so i can proceed to the delivery agency to purchase Phil/ Stella's
flight ticket over to u so they can be on a flight over to you . It
will just be a couple of hours flight which will take like 5-7
hours.The delivery agency are going to contact u with more details on
the pup delivery ok. The pups shall be home delivered since i intend
registering them under a home delivery service so u wouldn't stress up
ur self picking the pup up ok .Hope everything is understood?

Thanks for posting! He is not in Las Vegas or Minneapolis. His writing shows that he is in Africa, most likely Cameroon, as that's where pet scammers are concentrated (but he could be in Nigeria).

I've had three different people try to scam me which I'm sure are all the same people. They say they are located near me but once I email them they say they relocated because of their job and the puppies are free I just have to pay to have them shipped to me. Yeah, I'm not that stupid people. Here are the different emails and phone numbers of the people who tried to scam me.

And this number was the so called shipping company which I called at 1 am so any normal company wouldn't be open at 1 am because where they said they were was in the same time zone as me. They speak terrible english..I couldn't understand any of them.

So pretty much if your looking to buy a dog I would only buy it if you can get the dog in person and pay cash for it. Every single husky that was listed near my location were all these people. I texted every one of them and they were all a scam. All had the same story on how they had to relocate to a different aera because of their job and they have to ship the dog to you. All these people are a joke and I hope every one of them goes to hell for stealing people's money. Like get a fucking job and stop stealing from those who do work. Clearly their are a lot of these people but a for sure way to tell they are a scam is that they can only ship yout the dog and if you call them and they can't speak hardly any English you know it's a scam. Another thing I picked up on was in all of the emails and text messages I got from these people they said okay or ok after a lot of things. For example "we will get the dog shipped to you in a couple hours ok" and almost ever sentence had ok at the end. So also look out for that. I would post the emails but I'm doing this on my phone and it won't let me.

Thanks so much for posting this. I thought it seemed odd they put a post for my town which is quite small, but said they were in Albany, NY. It seemed suspicious. I thought I was going to be talking to a professional, but his/her grammar was poor, they used a lot of slang, and seemed very pushy. Howdy everyone! I just wanted to post the info on the ones that tried to scam me on Husky puppies.
This board helped me determine that they were scammers, and sure enough, I was right... Heartbroken, I just wanted to try and save someone else from the heart ache.
Below is the email that was sent to me, with photos.

Am the owner of the Siberian puppy you contacted. our puppy are still
available. so please i have sent you a mail with description and some
question regarding her. So please make sure you read the mail and
answer the question if interested in making mophy a part of your
family..

That was the first one, and then they sent was seemed like a very generic template of an email.

other dogs, kids and cats or other small animals. she is house, potty
and crate trained, and walks well on leash she likes to take the lead
though Needs a fenced yard or someone that can walk her daily. she
needs to burn off a lot of energy every day. she love to be hugged,
petted, cuddled and given tummy rubs. she sleeps in bed with me, but
is also comfortable in her crate or on a rug. does not go onto
furniture unless invited, will sit on command, get angry when you
shout at her, so don't do that lol, she barks when she sees strangers
but still needs to work with her basic commands, she is just 13 weeks

Once again, played it cool and answered and then asked a few more questions, but the thing that came up over and over again was money, and info.

you and will come with a State Health Certificate signed by our
veterinarian before the puppy is being shipped to you. All available
health and vaccination records for the puppy will be brought and
delivered to your home. so i will be waiting to read back from you so
that you can provide your full shipping details.


As soon as they said traveling with an agent, and at a low price, I knew for sure that it was a scam... This was when I was heart broken, and had to do something about it.

I asked for the phone number, and company name, but didn't get a company name. I did however also find their Google+ account and dug into that.

The Google + Account is linked to a profile with the name Taylor Woods. Sketchy profile, and sketchy details.
The email used was [email protected]
And the name used in the email was Shelley Barneth
The phone number given was +237670398836, and when I called, it was a man with broken English that immediately asked for the money. As soon as I denied his request, he began cursing me in another language and yelled "Get out!"

If you find anyone that shares any of these details in an adoption, please be cautious. They will not only steal your time and money, but also your hope.

There was another one today that contacted me with darn near the same exact dialogue in the email. They even included photos of the same exact dog in different poses.
The second email was [email protected] under the name of Curtis Jones. Oh, and this time, the puppy was named Sasha.

I thought it was weird when I got a text back at 11:00pm, they walked for my email so they could send pictures, Last time I checked Pic Text works just fine. That's I all needed to see. Numbers I've seen with the says replies 302-583-1693 (970)-592-8090 same MO Out of state phone numbers, need to relocate for work, selling Puppies at a really good price. Scum people praying on people wanting to get pets. All.I can say is to google every number you can before doing business, meet in person, cover your rear, and if something doesn't feel right then it isn't.


Just adding a VERY IMPORTANT FIND
This past Saturday night at 11pm again I received an text stating my Gmail account has been frozen and if its an error and to unfreeze the account to click this link. Like my username suggests I deleted it completely. It came from vsandoval.vs AT gmail.com. I've corrected the number typo as well. These people don't stop scamming

They aren't even near each other. +1-302-583-1693 is in Delaware; +1-970 is in Colorado. You appear to have left a digit out; could you fix it?
