Pet scam

I recently received an email from someone about adopting a pet. I am pretty sure it is a scam. Their ad was on alaska backpages.com. The email is [email protected]. The phone number they texted me from is 610 541 8631. They told me to use western union and send my money to: sean miles 5152 oakes drive charlotte nc 28273. Please assist me with this as I believe it is a scam. Thank you

This is a scam. Any time someone tells you to send money by Western Union or MoneyGram, and it's not a known family member or someone you've met in person, it's a scam. The phone number is not in Charlotte but in Philadelphia. There is no such address as 5152 Oakes Drive in Charlotte.

Please post the email, including complete headers.

The person running this scam is located in Cameroon, Africa.

This is the email I was sent. It also had pictures of tea cup Chihuahuas in it. I at first thought it was legit until they mentioned western union
