TAKANG LOGISTICS - Fake pet shipper

Hi,
I bought a pug from a women and her husband, i paid 400 for the dog and she claimed she sent the puppy to be shipped through takang logistics a pet shipping company, the company emailed me stating that if i don't pay $1748 dollars for pet insurance then i won't get my dog and will possibly be charged a fee and earn 5 to 7 years in prison for that, is it true? I don't know whether to believe they really have my puppy or if its a scheme ?

I bought a pug from http://www.trainedpugs.com from a women name lydie , she sold me a pug puppy for 400 dollars after we paid her through monogram she said she shipped the puppy from takang logistics when we asked for the billing number or flight details none were provided, later on that day we got an email from [email protected] saying we need to pay $1748 dollars for pet insurance and they say once we pay that amount we will get our puppy and a refund, but we need to make the payment through western union , they said that if we don't make that payment then we can be charged with animal endangerment and over a 5,000 dollar fee, has anyone ever heard of Takang Logistics ? is it a scam? please help

The phone number 515-207-2005 is VoIp which means with internet service this number can make and receive calls/text anywhere in the world.

Real businesses will not accept untraceable methods of payment like Moneygram or Western Union.

Police do not arrest people for not paying fake pet insurance. This is just another fake fee the scammer is using to steal your money.
