Yup, I got scammed.
I just want to put this site out there for anyone that might fall into the web that I did.
Everything seemed to be going well until after the the cost of the dog and flight were paid for. I got an email the next day stating that new airline requirements mandated that a "special electronic kennel" was required by the airlines now for the safety of the puppy and that it would be a $500.00 fee, refundable at the receiving end of the flight when the puppy was being picked up. That was the clue, as I knew that airlines no longer put animals into cargo areas that aren't environmentally controlled and that they are supplied with the same air as the passenger area. I verified this with United to be on the safe side and it was confirmed. I answered to the seller that his information was incorrect. I haven't heard from him since.

Julien Beagles is a small kennel where as a hobby where dogs are bred and live in the home environment. I have always had a great interest in animals, among other things; I worked as a zookeeper and control assistant. I got my first dog in 1974, it was a beagle. Since then, the beagle breed always had a place in my heart. It has taken us where we are today as we set out, mainly in the USA and Canada. We with obedience and agility run track and field trials with our dogs.
Our goal is to breed sound and healthy pure breed Beagles. Our dogs are health tested for MLS and NCCD and are bred for to be of good health, temperament and type.
We believe that the beagle should be a dog for everyone, young and old, new or old hunters, interested hikers, etc.
The Beagle is a very active dog and should therefore have an outlet for the year. Then it actually is and should be a companion dog.
