I replied to an add on kijiji for someone giving away their bengal kitten which turned out to be a scam. I did an email head analysis to track their IP, and the location is somewhere in Africa (I'm in Canada)

Here is the initial reply I received:

Greetings [my name] ,
I acknowledge receipt of your mail,
Thanks for the interest you have got in my lovely kitten.
She is still available for anyone willing to provide her with enough
care and love,
where she will be well spoil with all her needs ......

She is expected to weigh about 6.5lbs when fully grown.
She is 12 weeks and has a very good character with
children and other pets, very playful love to play with toys and
Children, it is guaranteed and health CKC tested and register.......

She is up to date on all his shots and will come alongside with his
health documents
PTO records. very intelligent and highly social kittens ..........

She is called Mandy, and I actually given her out , because she
belonged to my daughter (Jenner), but with a heavy heart I lost Jenner
and she's all that I got in my live.
I'm working with a global, broad-based, company health care dedicated
to the discovery of new medicines, new technologies and new ways for
health management.

My daughter Jenner, who was taking care of the kitten, Jenner was
knock down and she was died in an accident last on her way back from
her piano classes and I have very bad memories when I see this kitten
around me, because she was always with her, because I'm always busy in
the laboratory. i really need to give it to someone who can really
care and love her just the way my daughter Jenner used to.

Mandy has been very Lonely since Jenner passed away so the best that I
decided on things like my colleague advised me was to send her to a
loving home.
I really count on you, if you can assure and guarantee me that able
to love and care for her like my daughter Jenner did for this kitten i
will be very happy with you and Please Can I also ask You a few
questions?

Where are you?
Are you a breeder?
Do you have children?
Male OR Female?

Can you also promise that you will take care of her ?
where are you located?
How soon do you want the kitten?
A contact number would be highly appreciated.
.. The following attachment of their recent photos for you to see.
If you have any question you are free to ask .
i will be waiting to read back from from you ASAP.
Thank you and God bless.

The email this was sent from is [email protected]
I figured out it was a scam before I sent any money to them or anything, thankfully.
