scam or not scam ?

There was a woman who posted on a website that she want someone who adopt her Pure breed giant Alaskan Malamute. I am a Malaysian and we communicate through emails. She said I will only pay the shipping fees, MYR 300 and nothing more. I make the payment via Western Union. The receiver money is in Philippines, but the shipping company mentioned is in UK. She did not tell me the name of the agency company. I asked her to pay the half of the shipping fees as in case of cheating
She refused and I agreed to pay because I really wanted the puppy so much. Then today last minute the company emailed me urgent, they asked me to pay life insurance deposit that refundable once I have my puppy. I don't have so many money which is MYR 1250. Is it a scam ? Oh my god, they kept on asking me to borrow money from people now.

I wish I could give you a happier answer. It is a definite scam.

Emails at consultant.com are free email addresses, just like yahoo or gmail addresses. They are not connected to any real business.

Phone numbers starting with 4470 are not UK landlines. They are redirect numbers, used by scammers who are pretending to be in UK when they are not actually located there. Calls to these numbers can be forwarded virtually anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately, once the money has been picked up, there is no way to recover it. Both Western Union and Moneygram have posted warnings regarding sending money to strangers, and they do not accept responsibility for money sent to scammers.

The scammers are not going to send your money back. They are thieves who set up this scam for the sole purpose of stealing your money, and they have no intention of returning it.

I saw her adoption different breeds of puppies in Internetlocalclassified.com . Anyone get cheated before? Until now, she said she is not a scammer and she will pay the insurance fees of the puppy for me. Is it true? She said all she want is get the puppy in a caring home. It frighten me because I was fear enough to meet scamming but she gave me a little of hope.

I'm finding dozens of adverts with that email address, all using different puppies. No scam reports yet, but it's fishy. Could you please post the emails you received from this person here?

I regreted ro pay for shipping fees. I was concerned about scamming. I should have search for information about scamming. Anyway, thank you for guidance so I will not keep losing another amount of money.

This is a definite scam.
My partner and I were also looking to adopt the same breed (Alaskan Malamute).

We noticed something wasn't right but decided to play along until as far as possible.

The e-mail sent by the "pet transportation company" has HOAX written all over it.
Full with gif's, pictures, too many colors for this kind of transaction and mistakes.
It says you must pay via western union or moneygram.

Search on google for a while, you'll see.

Not a good sign.. Why not post a picture of the actual puppies?
