I am posting on behalf of families that are currently looking for a home and for the current renters at this location. This home in CA has been occupied since July and will remain occupied for a very long time. I would know, since I am the landlord.
There have been about 10 or so families that have come to the house claiming that the home was put up for rent by a gentleman by the name of 'Gabriel' who claims to live in New Mexico and has a North Carolina telephone number. My concern is for those of you who either will, or already have, submitted an $800 holding deposit. You will be handing your hard earned money over to a complete crook who lured you into a scam. I've been approached by several people who have already paid the deposit to this 'Gabriel' scam artist and are waiting for 'Gabriel to send keys in the mail'.
