Fabrice Guillaume <[email protected]>:

Hello
I just read your email and I agree for you rent my studio given your response I inform you that the date suits me for our meeting leading to the inventory of fixtures and the delivery of keys, it suits you ?

But for precaution and for reasons of prevention there is a condition that you must fill before, because during the rental of the apartment I moved too much the week passes with my adviser for booking and meeting other tenant who were very interested but did not have the money to complete the rental and our trips did not disappoint and wasted time.
And the only way for me to help you to book the apartment is that you make the deposit of the 1st rent 685 € + the deposit 600 € (which will be given to you at the end of your lease) by going deposit a secure postal check commonly called Western Union Mandate on the coordinates of my financial adviser who will be present at our meeting, there I will be sure and certain to leave you the apartment, also once you make this deposit of guarantee I will send you a copy of the rental agreement and reserved the apartment in your name.

I remind you that the Western Union Mandate does not mean that you send me money, NO. Because once you made the deposit, he delivered you a slip containing the information (Code confidential) used for the withdrawal of the money that you would have to keep on you and give me.

Please take all these precautions as an act of guarantee for both of us and not wanting to move me once for nothing I was advised this approach that I find quite judicious for us all.

So if you understand correctly, please confirm my appointment and give me your agreement in principle so that I send you the details of my financial adviser you need for deposit in a Western Union agency.

Waiting to read you in order to follow up on our meeting.

Best regards,
Mr Fabrice Guillaume

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
