Hello,

Thanks for your email and interest in renting my house at ( 1401 Wewatta St UNIT 606, Denver, CO 80202 )

The Property is available for move in at the moment for $700 for the month rent. For immediate move in you would be required to make a payment of $700 but if you are not moving in Immediately, you could make a deposit payment of $500 for the security deposit Non- negotiable, to hold the property till desired move in date.

Currently, I would not be present in person to show you the property due to my recent job transfer but you can feel free to drive by and check the neighborhood and surroundings. So if you are interested in renting the property, I would email the necessary papers for the lease and house keys to you, for necessary endorsement.

Details of the house is below;

Rent: 700
1 Bedrooms, 2 Bathroom.
Pets Allowed: Cats and Dogs.

APPLIANCES
. Dishwasher
. Garbage disposal
. Range / Oven
. Washer

I actually had plans of selling the house but my husband and I later decided to rent it out instead. So i have decided to rent the house myself. I could also mail you more pictures of the inside view of the house and you can text me if you've got further inquiries 240-892-4712

Regards

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
