Background

The United Nations Climate Change Conference COP17 2011 in Durban, South Africa highlighted the major challenges and opportunities associated with climate change as we move towards post 2012 carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction targets. In January 2008, the UK raised the bar by announcing a target of cutting CO2 emissions by 80% by 2050.

Concept
GWC 12 themed “Impacts of Global Warming on the Environment" Global Warming Policy and Markets will provide a platform to discuss the future opportunities and challenges related to the design, development and commercialization of low carbon innovation, technologies, products and services. GWC 12 will include invited and refereed papers from academics, consultants, entrepreneurs, investors, technology providers, designers, companies, government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), environment and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) managers as well as other business functions. The event will be a unique learning experience, networking space and an opportunity to think. The Global Warming Conference is supported by an international Advisory Board.

Part A - Conference/Exposition Registration.
Registration is free of charge for delegates from developing countries of Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America and South America. Note: Only officially confirmed delegate(s) will attend the GWC 12. The deadline for submitting paper(s), registration and access grant application forms is on Friday, 3rd February 2012.

Part B - Call for Papers

Part C - Access Grant
Delegates who require access grant to support their travel costs to GWC12 events in London should apply online at http://www.gwc12.org/access.htm and send a motivation letter via fax:+44-702-407-1007or e-mail: [email protected]
Global Warming Network have involved numerous sponsors to make access grant available for free sponsorship of delegation's visa fee, per diem, travel insurance and air tickets from their home country to London and back.

Part D- Visa Requirement.
Delegates who require travel visa to the UK should contact our immigration lawyers for information on UK visa requirement. Our Immigration Lawyers will also arrange interview sessions in conjunction with UK Embassies and British High Commission all over the world for easy procurement of entry visa for qualified delegates. e-mail: [email protected]

Part E- Accommodation Booking.
Delegates are responsible for making their own accommodation arrangement in Emirates Garden Hotel (the venue of the GWC 2012). A limited number of rooms have been reserved for delegates to lodge during the GWC12 at 30% discounted rate. Emirates Garden Hotel has been selected to accommodate delegates attending the GWC12 event because of its good facilities, cheaper rates and sponsorship. Delegates are required to stay at the recommended hotel to get the support access grant! Make your hotel reservation payment and submit your reservation receipt as a pre-requisite to avail access grant for the GWC 12.
