Hello Scamwarners,
thank to your website I avoided a fraud I was about to be implied into. The wrote me a wonderful letter, telling me they would give me so much money it would made me richer than me mother, and sent me pictures and so on and obviously wanted me to pay for the visa, but I'm italian so I am EU.
And pating the body of the letter on google I found this website and also the pictures they sent me were on it.

Now.
Here is another scam I have been talking to:

From: [email protected]

Hello Dear

How are you? We hope this mail meets you in good health and your
family is doing well. i am very glad you could get back to us with
your mail. i and the UK government office agency will take sometime to
discuss about your contract with my family and i will let you know
what we decide eventually. I have full confidence you will love and
care for my child just as i do and we know the two of you will get
along well. i hope you will be a part of our family soon and get to
know us better and also share experiences with us here.

We would like to clarify you some more;

We live in a five bedroom apartment at no. 3QA Woolwich Park view England,
Our residence is very open and in the city there are other Au pairs close by.

In the area there is a pub full of young people, there is also a bus
stop outside our house with city center.
We also have parks, cinemas, restaurants, malls, etc around. So it will be
easy to make friends and go places.

We will require you to take good care of Alex and see to his needs for
approximately 35hrs a week. his 3years of age and You will generally
see to his immediate needs and clean up after him. You will have
weekends free and be
entitled to all holidays and we will pay you GBP400 (British pounds)
PER week and a total amount of 1,600GBP Monthly. You will also be paid
extra for any additional time added to the agreed time. And also you
will be enrolled in a public school during weekend if you wish.

You will have your own bedroom and your own bathroom either live in or
out fully furnished, with a desk phone and computer system with internet.

We are looking for someone to muck up and help out generally as any
member of the family would. You will need to babysit a couple of times
a week and also be happy about us popping back to work in the evening
if you are at home anyway. We need someone to be flexible - as we will
be if you would like to take time off if your family visits or you
have a holiday. When we go on holiday as a family you will usually be
welcome but we can also arrange for you to stay home if you prefer.

We will also be shouldering all document and travel expenses.

However we would like to ask a few key questions and we need you to
answer very honestly and positively.

1) What are your aims and objectives in life?

2) How do you intend to impact positively in my son life?

3) Do you have any work at hand now that is going to disturb you in
joining my family soon?

4)What do you hope to gain from the job opportunity that you are applying
for?

5)How would you describe your personality?

6)Which age-group of children do you have experience with?

7)Are you willing to work longer hours than usual for a higher salary?

8)What is your Nationality?

9) Whats your budget for the trip?

Kindly answer these questions and get back to me as soon as possible.

We hope to hear from you soon and our warmest regards to you and your
family. My family sends her best and wishes you well in all you do.

God bless.

Best Wishes,
Kurt Walter

thanks for all the info and welcome, Nadia Bob. I'm happy you avoided this scam. :=)

You can find more information about Au Pair scams here : viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3019

In the future, its best not to tell the scammer you know he is a scammer, and even worse to tell him why you know he is. It will only make him lie more, and improve his scamming skills.

The probability of him changing his email address(es) also gets much higher after you accuse him of fraud. Then we have to wait for another victim or potential victim to come out and expose his new email address(es). If we know the emails, it is easier to track him using search engines ( like you did).

After you realize you are dealing with a scammer, just stop communications with him. Never ever give your real personal information out on the internet to someone you have never met face to face ( legitimate businesses are OK).

Real Au Pair agencies and the UK government do not use free email addresses such as mail.com See this article for other free email addresses scammers like to use that look like they could be professional :

Wow, this scammer doesn't even know how to act normally! He must be a beginner. And most importantly, the grammar is so poor and the name is stolen. :x
