That is a scam. The UK has a strict program for Au Pairs. [email protected] is a free email address that wouldn't be used by an agency and if they are offering more than the average rate for an Au Pair and you are in a country not approved by the UK to be an Au Pair, it is a definite scam.

This is a scam.

A legitimate government agency will never ask for a payment via Money Gram or Western Union.

Please post the emails that asked for money to be sent including the email address used for the request. Be sure to remove your personal information before posting.

It is ALWAYS a scam
If the pet seller or shipper asks for money to be sent via Western Union, Money Gram, any brand of gift card. Walmart To Walmart , Zelle , PayPal friends and family option, or mentions Cameroon

Can you copy/paste the message of the emails with your personal information removed? This will help others that may be searching.

Hello <removed name - Tim>,

I have received the signed agreement letter. I wish to inform you that
this application will still be terminated without the receipt of the
deposit of 650 pounds for your sufficient fund and the filled
application forms.

Make Hay.

Emily.

As you've been told above, it is a scam - there is no job, they want to steal your money.

This thread explains how these scams work:

https://www.scamwarners.com/forum/viewt ... =42&t=3019

    - Travel agents and lawyers do not arrange visas, Consulates or Embassies do - either in person or in some cases online using official websites.
    - Never send money by Western Union or Moneygram - any one asking you to use these methods is a scammer.
    - You will never be asked to send money to yourself as proof of funds - this will be done by verification of bank accounts.

This is the UK policy regarding Visas for Au Pairs:

I do not think you are a serious human being. I am going to inform
Catherine for the termination of this application immediately, and
look for a serious nanny for my daughter.

how could I trace the scammer I dont want to victim a lot of people
#302958 by Tim Atem Fri Aug 12, 2016 10:23 pm
It's impossible to trace them, they hide behind anonymous emails and fake names. You've done the right thing by coming here, now if someone searches they will find it here.

Stop all communications with them, let them think you fell of the face of the planet. Do not tell them you know it's a scam and do not tell them you've reported them here.

Dear Au pair,

We need someone to love our kids as much as we do. they are wonderful children, gifts from God to us.Our two lovely daughters;Anna and Martha are very precious and dear to us but as my wife and i both work a lot, they need someone in our absence to make us feel confident in
taking good care of them. they love to go to the park, watch cartoons, read books and build adventure tents.
they love water be it the bath or a pool or just sprinklers.
We love to laugh and just enjoy our time together.

We want an Au pair who feels like part of the family yet enjoys
personal time exploring everything London has to offer.

Send your resume/pictures to us for our perusal and consideration.

We anticipate your response soon.
