Scams offering fake Au Pair positions

^^^yes it is a scam.

The writing style is not that of an educated American, but a West African.

Additionally, there are very specific procedures to follow to apply to be an au pair in the USA (as linked to in the sticky at the top of this board), which start with a face to face interview of the au pair by a representative of the agency in their home country. There are also only 15 specific agencies who are allowed to bring au pairs to the USA and their contact details are as per the State Department website - if you are communicting with an "agency" that is not on the list or using a different email address then it is a scam.

Please provide details of the email address the scammer is using..

Finally, if the phone number in your post is yours, please edit it out.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.
