I would like a reccomendation(s) for a brokerage for day trading stocks. Also, I am not sure what the rule is - as to how many trades per day you can make. Its my understanding that you can trade the value of your account in 1 day? ie. If i have $2,000 - then I could trade $500 worth of stock 4 times throughout the day? I want to start very small with $500 or $600 and buy and sell the same stock as many times as I legally can throughout the day. Does anyone know the rules for this? What brokerage do you think would be the best for me? As stated above, that is exactly what I want to do.
