Craigslist, Ebay and other online buying/selling scams.

I have a recent offer for an iPod I put up for sale on Craigslist, and it's obvious from the reply that it is a scam. I was hoping that an experienced scambuster would be kind enough to walk me through this experience as a mentor, since I am a complete novice at this proactive form of justified retribution towards those that prey on the innocent and naieve. If you're interested, please email me in hopes that you can educate me with the process of how to handle these types of scum roaming the Earth.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Moonewe, you would be better posting this in our sister site, www.419eater.com.

We don't bait from this site, it's an education and victim support role only here.

I'm sure if you visit Eater, there will be a lot of willing people that can help you.

edit to add: well done for not falling for the scam as well. You can always post the emails you received in here with the scammers email address, so it shows up on google
