Hi travelingelkca and welcome.

The problem with Chinese merchants is that it is very difficult to know who are legitimate and who are not. It is true that you can get some very cheap products from China and I do know people who have successfully purchased items from China with no problems.

That said however, after doing a quick bit of research I would be very wary of barginb.com. Here is the WhoIs information for their site.

Two things immediately jump out.

1. The website was only registered at the end of April this year for a period of 1 year.
2. The registrant details appear fake.

Both of these would indicate that the site is quite probably fraudulant.

Please do not tell scammers that they are listed here - it will take them seconds to change their fake details and their new details will not be listed for any future victims to find.

Hi Traveling,

Happy to see you here, and to see that you followed my advice to post your message here! I'm the Scam Warner who warned you about the Craigs List scam.

Just to add some additional info here...I did a google search on the site, and came up with dozens of references to this site as being fraudulent. Try it yourself - just google www.bargaineb.com, and you'll see. Clearly there are a number of people out there who have been defrauded by this side.

Real, safe, legitimate businesses don't generally turn up dozens of references to them by victims saying they've been scammed.

Good job catching this, and thanks for posting it here!
