This has to be the most stupid attempt at cheque fraud I have ever seen.

Received the following email in an account that I use for collecting scam email -

From: allison prady [email protected]
Subject: am interested in your LCD TV

its items available....am interested

I have't got a TV for sale, but replied saying yes it was available and received the following response -

From: Daniel Peterson [email protected]

Hello
Thanks for your reply,Concerning my inquiry,Am quite comfortable with the
condition of the item since i won't be making any repairs on it,i will add
$30 to it for keeping it for me, Please provide your full Name,Address for
payment.I am paying by MONEY ORDER.It will take few days for payment to get
to you. As perpick-up, I will make arrange for the pick-up after payment has
been received by you.I hope it is in good condition?I would have loved to
come check it out but i am presently away on a business trip,so you can send
me pics of the item so that i can know it is in good condition,kindly get
back to me with your name,phone # and mailing address where payment will be
sent.I will let you know how i intend to pick it up.
Note: I would appreciate it if you take the posting off today and
consider it sold to me.As for the pick-up,it would be handled after
you receive your payment.

However i want to believe that i won't have any problem with you and i
believed i can trust you with the rest of the money.Like i said in my
former conversation i am presently on business trip so please once you
receive the payment kindly take it to your bank and have it cashed
then deduct your required amount with the amount i offered you and
send the remaining difference to the shipping company representative
via Western Union, Immediately you send the difference to them they
will come with their truck to pick up the item from you.I will provide
you with the shipping company representative's information and the
means which you will use to send them the remaining balance via
Western Union.
I am really sorry this fault is from my assistant so kindly help me
out by sending the remaining of the money to the shipping company
representative so that the shipment can be completed.I will be waiting
to hear back from you soon.Provide me with the physical address once
again where the package will be picked up so that i can be assured and
also send me your cell phone number..
