Hi mate, I have looked at it a few times now, and after looking
around, I'm satisfied with the great condition but what's your actual
price for it. I love a bargain, so i would like to get it as soon as i
can. I would be able to make payment through PayPal, i find it the
easiest way to use my credit card safely and is a safe and reliable
method of payment... Let me know your price for it . I hope to hear
from you soon, and i will make all transportation preparations for the
it to be transported to my home in London,UK. If possible can you send
me some recent picture or video of the item ?

My dad's selling something on donedeal.ie at the moment. He got a text asking was the item still for sale? Oddly, no number showed up on text but had an email address [email protected]. My dad doesn't really email so I sent off a message saying yes, it still was for sale.

The reply that came back is the one I pasted into the top of this message. Alarm bells belatedly started ringing in my head and I googled the email address. So really, I'm just posting this just in case someone else gets contacted by someone using this address and they get suspicious.

I hope you don't mind if I add another dodgy email address to the site? Feel free to delete this if you wish.

We got another suspicious text message relating to the item being sold on donedeal.ie (we bumped the ad recently). The text sent is identically worded to the first one we received and again, no phone number can be seen. This time the email address is [email protected]
