This is a scam?? Help me please....

Dear members!!!
My English is not good but i m learning. Sorry for my bad English....
I have a situation and i don't know that i have been scammed or not? Below is the detail

A month ago I saw an advertisement on OLX.COM.PK ( i live in Pakistan ) in cell phone and accessories section a company THEMOBILEPHONEDIRECT(ONLINE)LIMITED (they said we are in UK) was offering IPhone 4s 64gb factory unlocked in 400usd with promotional offer buy 2 get one free.
I contact them and they said if i wish to buy a phone, first I will have to send money via Western Union.
They said first we will confirm the payment then we ship the phone to you. I made the payment of 400usd, after that they said the store manager mistakenly ship the 4uints to me instead of the 1 unit. And also they said the shipment is out of the UK and the Currier service (SPEED EXTRATEX) is holding the shipment for custom clearance. After that they demanding me 300usd more for custom and they said after the shipment i must sell two phones to send money back to them and one is free for me. Then i sent 300usd and they gave me the shipment detail with tracking number and the shipment status shows ''Shipment Now on Hold by Customs (Please Contact Your Sender)'' http://www.globalinternationalcourierservice.tk

I am afraid that it is definitely a scam, and both the original mobile phone seller and the courier company are fake.

I'm afraid that as you sent the money by Western Union, there is no way that you will be able to get it back as it will have likely been picked up using fake ID.

I have listed the fake courier company website to be killed, was there a website for the mobile phone seller as well?

The phone number that he has given to you is a +4470 redirect phone number. It looks like a standard UK mobile phone number, but in reality it can be answered anywhere in the world.

This is a definite scam, and if you send any more money then you will lose that as well.

The scammer will of course deny being a scammer as he wants to continue getting money from you.

Edit: I have also just heard that the website http://islammobilephone.webnode.com and the email address [email protected] are now both dead after being reported.

Thankyou for the post azerkui. The same phone number 447024043957 can be seen on a care giver type scam. I'm sorry you have done your dough. The best course of action is to simply cease dialogue with the scammer and give no rhyme or reason. Confronting the scammer will only make it worse. I wish there was better news to tell. But you have posted the details for the world to see and others will be alerted in future when they perform an internet search.

I had the same guy trying to scam me. I saw the cheap price and the payment via western union so I made a research on this company and the guy. This is the same Ibrahim Jabr who's writing but now, he's using a respectful museum limited company name for his scam.
