I posted the whole scam under a separate posting, but I'm curious if anyone can figure this out.
The fake landlord sent a link for prospective tenants to go to:
http://www.e-creditreport.net
If you click on that link it takes you to a site that looks like www.creditreport.com. If you click on "get credit report" it takes you to a secure site that, if you check their certificate, says it is from secure.creditreport.com.
Doesn't look like a phishing site to me, and I'm usually pretty good at uncovering where the scam is, but I'm having trouble with this one. Anyone have any ideas?
