Robert Lucas - Car Scammer

He sent me another email under Matthew Henery and used the same email address: [email protected]

he's still at it,,, I got the same paypal email thing today.

I posted a car for sale this morning on Craigs and got the same lame story about buying it sight unseen for his father and offering an extra $100 to hold it for him. Still using.......

Although I knew he must be scamming, I googled his name and found your site which confirmed my feeling.

Just got an email for a vehicle I have for sale on craigslist. I got an email from Brett Wallinb[[email protected]] saying he was interested in vehicle. I have received previous emails that seemed "fishy", this one "wreeaked" of scam!

I googled his name and (new?) email address ([email protected]), low and behold, here I am at this site.

I did report to craigslist of this scammer.

I am thankful that this site exists and encourage others to keep others informed of scam, er, uh, scum like this.

I just almost fell for this scam - thinking if the money was in my account, then all was good. Problem is they can reclaim their money and you're left with nothing - or they use you to launder the $ and you lose what you pay the shipping agent.

Brett Wallinb sent 3 emails - all from different accounts - a couple the same as reported here. The emails were identical to what others posted. So glad someone took the time to post on this. Thanks all!

THANK GOD I HAD A FUNNY FEELING IN MY GUT AND AFTER I GOOGLED HIS NAME I FOUND THIS SITE. I REPORTED HIM TO CRAIGSLIST, BUT I HAVE MY DOUBTS THEY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

I went back and forth with this guy (four e-mails total) about the Yamaha Dual-Sport I listed on CraigsList yesterday. His second email was almost exactly like the one's posted on here. After noticing this "Navy Captain" had poor spelling and grammar, I got suspicious and googled "Brett Wallinb" and found this site. Thank you guys for posting this!!!

I've been in the Coast Guard for 13 years and I've never met a Navy Captain that sounds as dumb as this maggot.

This guy just tried to scam me after i put my truck up for sale on craigslist. Went by the name brett wallinb, but this time used the email adress [email protected]. Just wanted to pass on the new info about this low life.
