Was looking for an Acura TL and came across what appears to be a certain scam. The posted car is a Maroon Red Manual Acura TL. On writing to the seller, he replies asking to write to his personal email (First name: David).

Then he replies with a story of why he is selling the car - Getting divorsed, is a figher pilot, is always away overseas etc. etc... and says car is in Houston and he has arranged for transfer and title.

Watch out! Dont engage.

Interestingly teh car is not listed in Houston. and the VIN he gives shows the car to have been sold in Florida last year with a picture that is taken on the same location as the craigslist pic!

Buyers should also be aware of sellers who demand to be paid thru Pay Pal citing their buyer and seller protection policies. eBay will not cover anything not purchased on eBay and Pay Pal does not cover payments for motor vehicles of any kind. Also sellers who offer to ship the vehicle to you with money back guarantee.... are guaranteed to be a scam.
