Many, many scams emanate from a representative of one of the oil companies found in Nigeria. Sometimes there is money that was destined for a certain contractor, but now a high-ranking official wants your help in taking control of the funds as that contractor never claimed the funds, and if you don't take the money, it will automatically revert to the government!

Others, like the one below, throws in an official sounding organization the "Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)" which is "considering" your contract for approval. However, due to some history of misappropriation, only serious and authentic contractors can receive such consideration. All you need to do is "revalidate" your contract claim for the low, low sum of $65.

SENATE AD HOC COMMITTEE ON NNPC CONTRACTS
email : [email protected]

The Senate Ad Hoc Committee on Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Payment Verification is inaugurated by the Senate President, and is mandated to look into the immediate and remote causes affecting release of your contract bill. This is coming against a backdrop of controversies over the alleged mismanagement of payment funds and manipulation by some officials of the Corporation.

In accordance with the Executive Communication setting up the Committee, it is required that in order to prove seriousness, authenticity and commitment towards full implementation of your
contract payment, it is mandatory for you to revalidate your Contract Claim with the sum of US$65.

By this revalidation, you would have indicated your good intention, and the Committee will facilitate and support all the actions that may be taken by President Musa Yar'Adua to perform his obligation to you.

Of course, you have the power in your absolute discretion to receive or reject your funds. Therefore, the Committee will not act on the basis of information gotten from other sources, so we are going to wait and if we hear from you, we will take further legislative action on your matter.

We appeal to you to respect this Committee through which your Contract bill would be paid or otherwise.

Revalidation Fee US$65
Receiver's Name : Mr. Ukay Aku
Lagos Nigeria

Awaiting to read from you as early as possible.

Yours faithfully,
for : THE SENATE AD HOC COMMITTEE

Senator U-kay Aku
Secretary
