Greetings from your Recruitment Agency!

We have wonderful news for you: we have achieved an "OK" regarding the acceptance of your application!

In other words, we are extremely happy that you have successfully passed through this very important initial stage.

What follows from now on is:

- an immediate task to prepare, together with you, a perfect set of documents, needed presently by the employer. This will also be necessary considering the employer's potential actions regarding the submission of your application in the relevant state services for work permission issuance. Preparation and provision of all work permission issuance-related documents, expected from the worker, saves time and hopefully will facilitate the decision- making process.

Let us remind you that due to the high state fee, paid for joining of a foreign worker, some employers give up filing even at the very last moment, although they have initially confirmed their intention to submit the documents. We hope that your case will not develop like that. So - we have the task to prepare together with you a perfect application set, containing all necessary items. Your documents should be accurately prepared, featuring all required information. The work permission acquisition forms should be filled in the sections, relevant to you (the worker).
This is the list of application items you need to prepare:

1/ personal identification number in the foreign labor office
2/ CV European format
3/ work permit form
4/ motivation letter

The CV and the work permit form that are due to be submitted to the employer are located at the following link: click here
It is commonly accepted to also enclose a letter of motivation (it is a standard procedure - all that makes a part of the applicant's file kept by the 'Human Resources' Department once the applicant starts working).
According to the preliminary requirements, the letter of motivation should contain your personal identification number in the foreign labor office - it should be written in bold font. We would like to remind you that the personal identification number in the foreign labor office is a preliminary requirement, which is mandatory for all our users. This is a free procedure, which is accomplished by you personally or through companies, specializing in the provision of such services (here bellow in this letter, we will enclose contacts of a few companies, regularly used by our users). We believe that one potential obtaining of such a personal identification number will facilitate the particular employer. After a given application is listed in the database of the foreign labor office, it becomes OFFICIALLY PRESENT on the labor market, i.e. it becomes legitimate. It results in a situation where the labor office itself is the institution which offers the particular worker to the employer. This exact information is FILLED IN the relevant official documents and sections (the different administrative offices handle it differently). At some locations, according to the current situation on the labor market, the employer could even benefit from this - a discount or even waiver of the entire fee for the work permission issue for a foreign worker. This will save considerable expenses to the employer. Considering this, the personal identification number in the foreign labor office is an obligatory condition (after all, the procedure is easy and can be completed within one-two days).

Particular steps to follow:

1. Mandatory obtaining of a personal identification number in the foreign labor office. We enclose a few companies, which have been used by our users many times and which provide this service for free. Some of these companies offer combined services, such as preparation of documents, services for work visa issue, obtaining various numbers in different state offices, etc. We suggest that you send an email to some of them (or to all of the listed companies), for example, a message with the following text:

Subject: Obtaining a personal identification number in the foreign labor office. Application to work in Ireland

Text:

Dear Sirs,

Your company was recommended to me as a provider of services for obtaining a personal identification number in the foreign labor office, in the category 'Foreign workers'. Could you please send me further information or proper documents (forms) which I should fill in, as I wish to obtain such a number through you. I already have a potential employer in Ireland, with whom I intend to submit my documents for work (application).
Thank you for the kind attention in advance!

Yours faithfully,

................... /your name/

This message could be sent to:

We hope that in this way you will be able to obtain a personal identification number in the foreign labor office successfully in the next few days. If you encounter any difficulties, please, inform us immediately via e-mail. In this case, put a subject 'DIFFICULTY' to your e-mail. You may also contact us online at Yahoo-Messenger: EUJOBINVEST or Live Chat.

2. After you receive your personal identification NUMBER in the foreign labor office, please, proceed to fill in and format the documents, which should be submitted with the employer. We would like to remind you that you could download the documents from the already mentioned link. Please enclose a letter of motivation, containing the personal identification number written in bold font.

A summary of the steps so far:

- Your work transfer procedure is at a very important stage. Your application set of documents should be prepared and officially submitted to your employer as soon as possible, observing the specified deadline. It should contain accurately filled in documents and forms.
- The preparation of your application is mainly your responsibility. If you encounter difficulties in the preparation process we can render methodical support or practical piece of advice. Do not hesitate to write us. Put a subject 'DIFFICULTY' to your letter. You may also contact us online at Yahoo-Messenger: EUJOBINVEST or Live Chat.
- The first step to be accomplished is to acquire a personal identification number in the foreign labor office. You could obtain it on your own or using one of the quoted companies, which complete such services for free. For this purpose you should send them a text - same or similar to the suggested one.
- After you obtain your personal identification number in the foreign labor office, accurately fill in the documents, which will make your official application package complete. Also, enclose the motivation letter, in which, apart from its motivational part, you need to fill in bold font your personal identification number in the foreign labor office.
- Send us the prepared documents - they would be reviewed by specialists before their submission with the employer. The documents should be sent to our e-mail, as an attachment. Please, put 'Documents' as a subject to the e-mail. We will enclose the address of the employer and we will send you back the documents. Paper copy of the documents needs to be sent to the employer.
- please, print them on high-quality paper and send them to the employer via post or courier.

***

We would like to remind you that the plane tickets are usually paid by the employer. He/she could do this absolutely free with no further obligations or, for example, deduct the amount on small installments from your initial salaries. As our organization has the opportunity to welcome you in Ireland, our representative will meet you at the airport upon your potential arrival.

We wish you to reach this stage successfully! Of course, it is important that we make together all little preliminary steps, necessary and expected from us to be completed.

Yours sincerely:

Welcome to Scamwarners.
It's a scam.
It uses free email addresses, and careers-peak.com was created last month for the minimum 12 months. The website shows "under construction" which is typical as all the scammer wants is a genuine looking email address.
I've started the process of getting it closed.
Domain Name.......... careers-peak.com
Creation Date........ 2011-01-28

As Arnold says - it's a clear scam and, from the writing style, it's from a West African scammer.

It's poorly written by someone who has no clear idea of what he's writing about, and is ignorant about Ireland, more correctly known as Eire.

Eire is in a severe economic recession and there are strict restrictions on non-EC citizens obtaining work permits. The list of jobs for which a work permit cannot be obtained is very large and covers virtually all unskilled jobs and a lot of skilled jobs too. You cannot just apply for a job. It must be a specific job for which you have specific technical skills not available locally and, even then, there are restrictions.

If you tell me what job the scammer is claiming to offer you, I can tell you if there is any chance of you ever getting a permit, but I don't want to provide detailed lists which will help the scammer make his scam appear more realistic.

The information on Irish work permits can be found here

http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employment/migrant_workers/employment_permits/work_permits.html

Scammers are lazy and don't bother to research their scams properly.

As you can read, the work permit form is one of the listed items that the employer requests in order to potentially further process it. This should give you 100% assurance that procedure is legal and adheres to the valid legislation for hiring of a foreign worker.

The personal identification number at the state work force service would help the employer in the process - as you would already figure in the lists, a certain employer will be able to just go in the work force service, point your number and state that he/she would like to hire exactly you. This makes the procedure very simple and completely legal, because officially only the work force service itself is the institution able to realize your job application. This will also help the employer to present proofs to the authorities why he/she prefers to hire a foreign employee.

Regarding the personal identification number from the European foreign labor office and the other 3 requirements, we recommend that you use the services of specialized European agency - they can register you in the European state force office and moreover prepare the other requirements in only 1 work day. It will allow us to give the job opportunity to another applicant who will take it. We hope you understand that we are expected to place employees to all vacancies that come to us. From the link I quoted

Occupations that are ineligible for work permits

Hotel, tourism and catering staff except chefs
Domestic workers including carers in the home and childminders (for work permit applications received on or after 1 June 2009)
................
...............

The list is very long, but you can see that the type of job that the scammer is lying about is one that you will not be able to get a work permit for.

There is no job, and the scammer is lying so that he can steal money from you.

There isn't much hope of stopping them jrc other than by warning people, which is what we do.

Scammers operate on dating sites, craigslist and gumtree, and anywhere they can trick people into paying them money. If anything the number of scammers is increasing.

Welcome to Scamwarners blu, and I'm sorry to tell you that if you have received the same mail - it's a scam and the person only wants to steal your money. There is no job.

Ireland/Eire is in a very deep recession and jobs are hard to get for Irish people, and there are very strict and severe restrictions on non-EC citizens going to work there. Paying money to a scammer won't get you a job and he doesn't even know the rules, but he is only interested in getting your money in his pocket, then he'll forget you.

Welcome to Scamwarners.
All you can do is break off contact, and as you have done, post the details here. As you haven't been scammed there's no point in reporting it to the police, and there's no chance of him being caught.
Can you add his email address please?
