Attn: Recipient,

The IMF was conceived in July 1944 at the United Nations Bretton Woods Conference. The 44 countries in attendance sought to build a framework for international economic cooperation under section 501{c}3 of the United States Internal Revenue Code and maintain stability which is essential to increase productivity, job creation, and economic well-being.

Furthermore, the IMF Grant Review Committee supports charitable organizations through partnership and annual monetary grants and also provides precautionary financing to help strengthen economic institutions and statistics being part of our three critical missions: furthering international monetary cooperation, encouraging the expansion of economic growth, and discouraging policies that would harm prosperity.

However, to prevent crises in the international monetary system, recipients must establish a profile for registration and review, but only eligible recipients could have legal recourse if this obligation is not fulfilled.
