Has someone offered you a huge sum of money or a valuable consignment? It's a 419 or advance fee fraud - find out how they work, and what to do to be safe.

A quick way to confirm that the following is a scam is to put one of the badly written phrases, such as "how much you need as loan so that i can provide", into a search engine. There are plenty of hits, except that the name and email address of the supposed sender changes.
