Not sure if this is a scam or just some terrible marketing.

Over the last few days I have received the following text massages from a number that appears to be in Malawi (+265884204167)

OK, thanks.

Today I had another 6 texts from this number. All apparently from someone to their lover. The final one made it clear that it was from a man to a woman as it got a bit explicit about what he wanted to do when they got together.

I am wondering whether it is just a case of a wrong number and the sender is using the eBuddy system, which is sending a marketing message to people he contacts.

Probably best to just ignore them for now. If they continue I may contact my service provider to see if they can block this number.
