It is a scam.

The scammer has gained access to the mail account. You can forward the email to the IT dept.

It seems as you read so many of these, the scammers do not speak English in the same form as we do.

Real people do not write strangers on the internet willing to give away money.

Only scammers believe what they write on the internet is real.
