Well folks, I want to start my own business but equipment is so expensive. So I am looking for a business grant. I have heard about those grants all the time but can't find any information on them. I don't want to buy the book that tells you, I want the actual information, website or name of companies and to know how to go about getting them. Please help me to get them? Thank you so much in advance.

Hi Emrica,

What you have asked is something we are generally not qualified to give advice on and certainly my advice is a logical guess and not based on any facts.

These grants you speak of I presume are something governments in many countries provide for their citizens, that being the case your contries body that deals with commerce and trade would be the first people to talk to.

Please be aware that many scams will be based on the theme of you providing money so they can provide your grant, wherever you do get advice from please ensure they are legitimate, if you would like to ask here somebody should be able to check it out for you but a few basics things can be doen to help prove legitimacy.

Is the email address used by the employees a free email providor
Is the phone number and address in the phone book
The required fees I cant comment on as I have no idea if fees would be involved in aquiring a grant but i would think not, it kind of defeats the purpose to pay a fee in order to get a grant.

I do hope this helps
