is the united nations donation a scam ?
thru the royal bank of scotland ?
to filter money into the economy ?
have been holding my money since may 2012 ?
only i have to pay 550$ to get my registered check
and associated paperwork sent to my door step ?
why would they scam me for that long (on hold)
just to get a measley 550$ out of me ? !
and why would they get away with it for that long
i just don't get it - anyways thanx for your help

Its a scam . If you google "united nations donation" you see that they are looking for donations not giving them . Emails , headers and other details would be helpful . A measly $550. times a thousand victims is a lot of money .

Total scam, and one we see a lot..

$550 may not seem like much to you, but when you look at the average income in the African countries these scammers are in, it's a lot of money to them, and for a lot less work than a real job.

Aaron it's scam and once you pay up they will make another enticing offer to you. They want to send a fake cheque to you and get you to pay to release it. IT is a 419 scam .
You might even be sent money by fake cheque again and asked to cash and send it as another "donation", and keep some for your work. It will never end and finish up with every penny you have going to scammers. It is all a pack of lies in the first place and there is no money.
