I just got an email and I suspect some crook is trying to get control of someone else's Google account. The body is this:
Your recovery email address changed

The snipped part before "@gmail.com" is a Latino name of someone I don't know. It was sent to root at my mailserver; I do not, of course, use root as a recovery address for anything. It was sent from 209.85.220.69, which is a Google IP address, but when people with Gmail addresses send me mail, it comes from an IPv6 address.

I would like to prevent this unknown apparently Chinese-speaking Latina from being a victim of this scam. Where should I report it? Reporting fake sites to [email protected] doesn't seem to do much good.
