Check Scams, Debt Collection scams and other financial scams.

I am dealing with large numbers of scammers and through answering their job offers I got this one through. It doesn't matter which one, and I deal with so many, it doesn't really matter.

It was only when I saw them that I realised how toxic this scam was. There is always the danger with paying these scammers' counterfeit/stolen cheques into your account that you'll get treated as a fraudster yourself - and it does happen.

As these are unsigned travellers' cheques (counterfeit) and unsigned, the receiver will have to sign them as the rightful owner - in effect unwittingly participating in the fraud. Anyone falling for this scam could end up in very serious trouble, especially as there is only one person the authorities have to take action against.
