This e-mail is now circulating, to TPG subscribers, It goes without saying, don't reply with your own private details.
Please warn anyone who's not as well informed as you are.. DO NOT REPLY.
As yet we are unsure what type of scam this is.

But no high quality company with a good reputation uses the following e-mail accounts

My first thought was that it's a phishing email,

This scam is trying to get hold of your contact list.

Once he has your contact list the scammer will assume your identity and begin to contact those in your address book.

They may be told a variety of lies but the idea is that they will be telling your friends about your dire problems requiring urgent moneygram transfers to save you from certain death.

Noting the email appears to have come from qwestoffice.net but this is another new trick many scammers have learnt, the email apparently came from this legitimate looking domain, but of course the scammers dont have access to it so they need to direct your reply to the email address with a free email provider.
