I know. That would only make sense after all.

A lot of really shady stuff happens over Skype. I don't see why they can't keep records of it in case something like this happens.

As for Confidentiality. Everyone needs to be able to reach out to someone. I keep everyone that wants to remain hidden, unknown. I only ask for myself to know your identity because I need to be able to justify that you are indeed a victim and not otherwise. I do not judge you, I do not put in personal bias. I am also a victim - end goal is to stop this from happening. Protect your family, Protect your Friends, and Yourself, Ironically.

I was ALMOST scammed. Thank goodness I do not have a cam. They wanted me to go buy one and they would reimburse me for my purchase. I told them I would think about it and went MIA for a few days. The entire thing just seemed WEIRD to me. And pay was very, VERY low for what nude models should get. I went to Disneyland on Tuesday and they had spammed my inbox on FB. I got home and noticed they DE-activated their account but at the time I thought they blocked me. So I sent them a message saying sorry I didn't respond, I was busy.

The next day I get a message from a WONDERFUL girl on cosplay.com who told me about this person. If I could reach through my computer and hug her I would. My faith in humanity really did get a little bit restored after her messaging me. I could have had something awful happen to me. I wrote the woman a nasty letter then blocked her on facebook. Awful awful!

Hi! I think I was the one that messaged you! I'm glad you blocked her ^^ If it is any possible, could you maybe provide a screenshot of what she said (Any threats?) We're building a little pool of evidence. But really, if you need to talk to anyone, message me or QQQueenie. You are not alone

Yes Please - There are examples through out this thread of how to hide your identity while showing the conversations that happened. This would still count has harassment. I am glad that Piyo was able to save you from being victimized. However, the Scammer is still targeting and still actively trying to victimize more people, may it be your family or friends. Many of the victims I found are within my 3rd degree friends... or even my own friends that were too shy or embarrassed to come out until they found my posts. Protect them. Share this Post and Also post examples of her harassment, You can upload the photos in picture storing website, and Piyo can help you as to how.

Thanks!

Hey ladies...

I was just approached by this Darlene woman a few hours ago on the American Cosplayers Paradise website; http://www.acparadise.com/

She explained she wanted a model for some paintings and told me she would be paying me $140 USD for each 30 minute session. I agreed, although didn't have a webcam and told her of this. She said I should go get one and she would reimburse me, but I refused (I'm a struggling college student, I don't have the cash for a webcam to begin with whether or not I was reimbursed)... my friend was visiting me though and she had one, so I said we could borrow hers and take half an hour for set up and costuming.

The half an hour went fine.. I have all of our conversations saved in my skype... towards the end we did semi-nudes and I did take off my top but refused full nudity of my lower half. (I'm sort of shy like that)

She wasn't too terribly pleased with me but we compromised and that was all fine.

At the end of the session we talked briefly, she asked me if I would be willing to do erotic nudes for $320 USD for 30 minute session. I questioned her on what this would entail, she said I would be fully exposing myself for each pose.
I wasn't comfortable with that, so I informed her that I would think on it.

That was pretty much the end of the conversation and we scheduled another session for tomorrow. My friend found this website shortly after and we've been googling her and checking her out for some time. If this is indeed a scam, I'm quite pleased I didn't give the erotic nudes a serious thought... however our meeting is still scheduled for tomorrow.

I intended to refuse another session until I was paid for the first one, but that was before I found all this here, now I'm wondering what I should do...
I'm a pretty paranoid girl, and there's no way she can get to my family or friends on any social medias... I'm on facebook but we aren't friends and all of my stuff is private, so she cannot see it... Still, I'm somewhat vexed at the potential for this woman to be a scammer...

any thoughts?

Hi @Ichor! First of all, thank you for coming forward and posting in this forum.
From what I have read, it seems you have indeed been drawn into the scam. Block this person both on facebook and skype. Don't even do the next session. SHE WILL NOT PAY YOU.
If it is at all possible, post some screen shots on here of things she has said to you. (Any harrassment, threats?)
Although QQQueenie and I have both been threatened by her saying she wil post our videos and contact, so far, none has surfaced. Also many of her online profiles seem to have been deleted (Maybe she's gone into something of an online hiding) Don't worry about anything. I know you're worried, but you could help us bring this person out and help others from being victimised :)

I hope I helped~

She hasn't threatened me as of yet, but I'll post everything I have of our conversation so far for ACP and for the skype call.
While I'm not overly concerned about myself- as there's very little she can do to me and its not like I have any money for her to steal.... or pride... I attend an art college and we frequently have live nude models for our life drawing classes, I had assumed it was something of that nature.

I really want to help the other girls here who have been victimized in far worse ways than I, so I'll do my part.

This is everything I have of our conversation

Do you know if she's still active on FB?

I might be the only guy to have posted in this thread (to gain an understanding to what this scam is about), but I'm not exactly new to baiting, so I might be able to cause some damage to the scammer in a different way. I'll start up a massbait (please PM me with her profiles, regardless of site) when Eater forums come back online. Naturally, you're all welcome to join the bait, provided that you bait safe.

Good to see that people who have been targeted by this scam are coming forward. This is one of the really bad scams out there (not that there's any good scam, but some are worse than others). There's nothing to be ashamed of, and we're glad that you find SW.

EDIT: I'll compile a list of her profiles. If you want to join the bait, and want to know about safe baiting, you can PM me about that too.

By all means, more power to you!

@Mikkel
As far as I know, she still is. However her profile seems to be on and off. Almost like she's disabling it for days at a time. Trying to stay anonymous and keeping cover since QQQueenie exposed her maybe?

Also @Ichor I find it interesting that you had someone else with you. After she hooked me in, she was always pushing me to get someone else to do it with me. Friend, boyfriend and, if you look at my screenshot on the first page, even my mother

I feel it worth pointing out she only adds people she has talked to. Last time I checked on facebook, she had well over 100 friends. Which means, potentially, there are 100 more victims out there.
