Recently a man by the name of Raymond Vasquez contacted me through match.com. He said that his subscription was about to expire so he gave me his personal email and cell phone number. Then he asked me to set up a yahoo messenger chat account. He said that he was a widower and that his parents were dead. He said that his wife died of lung cancer a year ago. Then he writes these over the top emails calling me "my love" and "my darling" with elaborate dreams of the life he want to have together. I thought he was a widower so I gave him some room to act crazy. THen suddenly he as a job in Capetown, Africa and his daughter goes with him. They are supposed to be gone for 2 weeks. He wants to know if I am communiticating with other guys on match because he is afraid someone is going to steal me away. Real smooth...I had only been on the site for 1 month so I was so excited to have a guy so interested. I almost fell for him. Then, suddenly a workers is hurt on the work site in Africa and he needs money. It was a ridiculous amount of $$4,600 for help with something that should of cost far more. I reported him to the police but they wouldn't do anything unless he continued. Then he tried to gain my trust by giving me a phone number of a real bank with an access code and an account number. When I tried his name Raymond Vasquez was on the account. It said that there was 4 million dollars in the account. He said that he couldn't have the money wired to him because he was not in the U.S. That was another red flag. Also, for someone who is supposed to be so educated..his grammar was very poor. When I did get him on the phone, he didn't speak very good English. He even sent me a website of the construction company and all the places they where have worked. But I told him that I didn't see him in the picture. Earlier, I had made him send me pictures which looked real. But he wasn't in the pictures of the website and I never got pictures of his daughter and him together. He said he was on facebook, but there was no one that fit his description. I called the FDE and reported him to match.com. They are supposedly doing an investigation. There were too many hole and red flags for me to ignore, but he was real good and I could feel myself being sucked in. Fortunately, I don't have the money or I might have been really hurt. Right now, it's only my pride. He hasn't contacted him since I told him that I knew what he was. Be warned ladies, he is STILL out there.

My first thought was that for a Marine Engineer, his english was appauling! Girls beware!! All he does is copy and paste his email! :laugh-s:

Recently I was on Christian Mingle and Raymond Vasquez contacted me but with new phones of him at the snow and on a boat with some type of scope wearing a blue life jacket. I just knew it was too good to be true all the stuff he was saying. Just letting you know. Also I have his latest pictures but I couldn't figure out how to post them.
