This sort of scam often includes Western Union details that can be checked online - and the website will inform you that the payment is available for collection.

This is a trick designed to gain your confidence and make you believe that the money is genuinely ready for you.

In truth, the scammer has merely sent a small amount of money to himself, or to his friend. It has not been sent to your name, and you are not able to collect it.

As in this email above, the scammer will inform you that you need to pay a fee before you can receive the money.

He intends that you pay a fee - and then he himself, or his friend, will go and retrieve the Western Union payment.

No money will ever come your way.

Please do not respond to scam mails like this.
