Craigslist Scammer estivan ucello [email protected]

The scammer emailed me through Craigslist asking to "knock off $100" I agreed. The next message came through with his name and he asked me for my personal email - I gave him an old one that has zero personal information. He messaged me the below and I advised I sold it to a local. I then found his name and email reported on here. How do we get him to stop? Where can I report it next? THANK YOU

As was noted last time, it could be a real person's e,mail address as ghosting is possible, someone can send an email and make it look like it has come from a different email address.

The email itself looks suspicious, it's generic in tone - no specifics are mentioned - and the structure and grammar is typical of African scammers. Unfortunately these people (scammers) are cowards and there is no way to stop them once and for all. We can only educate, warn and make people aware of specific, ongoing scams as you have done here. Let's hope your contribution saves a potential victim.

just ignore them, there is nothing you can do to stop them, just be educated so that you do not fall for anything

I received the same email. I contacted PayPal directly to see if it was authentic and of course it wasn't. They had me forward the email to them at [email protected]. Glad I checked it out and glad I found this sight.
