The victim asked the scammer if he was "authorised to deal with clients in the UK, Germany and Switzerland?", the reply was:

The victim then asked for details of the scammers registration with the UK's FCA. The response was:

Can not help otherwise.

A legitimate individual working in the Financial Services industry would have no problem providing his registration number - a scammer can't do that obviously. Needless to say, there is no entries in the FCA register for either Bernard Anderson or ROI Global LLC.

There is a registered company in Georgia by the name of ROI Global LLC, but it appears to have a very poor record of filing it's required returns having been disolved once for failing to submit its returns, before being re-instated. Not something that you would expect from someone operating in Financial Services.
