I really want to buy these skis from this website - salesportinggoods.com - as they are 30% cheaper than most other places, however I am concerned this is a scam website. They are based in Singapore, many spelling/grammar mistakes, no reviews found on a google search. I know they are likely a scam but I want to be sure before I pass up this deal.
Does anyone know for sure? If anyone had bought from this website please let me know if there were any issues.

We have no way of verifying for certain whether the site is legitimate or not and asking for people who have purchased from the site to give you feedback won't really help you as if the site is fraudulent then they will just post fake testimonials to try and convince you.

I needed to find some snowboard pants for my boss, and I found them here. I should have known something was up - nobody had the size/color he wanted but they had 250 of them and 180$ less....
12 hours later the card had not been charged but I had a request to wire the money to them instead. For a pair of ski pants.
Luckily, shortly after I ordered I started getting suspicious when the order did not update to paid, I googled them and found this site. Then I saw all the errors on the website - FEADback really caught my eye. so I canceled and blocked them from charging.
Anyway, to the old adage, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Just confirming this site is FAKE. They took my credit card details and then sent a message on their site that their credit card system is down, they don't know when it will be back up, but if I will kindly complete the order via bank transfer or bitcoins they will give me an additional 15% off.

I guess now I have to contact my cc card company and cancel my card as they have all my details! What a pain!

Has anyone contacted VISA regarding this site? They must have a task force to take out sites that ask for cc info but are not licensed merchants. How do we shut these guys down?
