Hi all,
I'm a translator.
Nancy Record ([email protected]) contacted me for a translation assignment. She paid me with a bad cheque and the amount was voluntarily ten times higher than what she owed me. Then she apologised for the mistake and urged me to transfer the difference (10,000 euros) to a Spanish bank account. Fortunately, the transfer was refused by the Spanish bank. But I still lost time working on it for a month, because of course they didn't care about the translation.
It's a big, international network of scammers with hundreds of victims in France.
