What Katharina posted is some information about the domain you wanted some info about. It shows when the site was registered, by who, where it is hosted, etc. It can contain some valuable pointers for us site investigators to determine whether a site is legitimate or not. In this case the details check out and we are dealing with a real site here :)

Just ignore him. Don't even read his emails, every word he types is a lie and an attempt to suck you back in his story. Just delete everything - he'll get the message soon enough and move on.

People in the UK don't use Western Union to receive payments and 4470 telphone numbers look like UK phone numbers but redirect to another number, most likely in Africa or the Far East. They are a sure sign of the fact that you are dealing with a scammer.

If the person says that he is representing a company then you will lose your money if you don't pay the money to a bank account in the name of that company in the UK. Companies never allow private individuals to receive money into their personal account, and Western Union is only for use by private individuals. It's NEVER used by companies to receive money.

Non-EU citizens should go here to find out about obtaining a visa to work as an au pair in the UK

Whenever payment is requested by Western Union you're dealing with a scammer

The phone number mentioned on the website has appeared on ads for other hotels that have been deleted which is a bad sign. If their story were true that phone number would only relate to that one apartment complex. It's also a bad sign tha they are using a gmail address to contact you. It suggests that they are woried that their website is going to be shut down which would mean that they lose all their victim details. Of course, this only happens to scammers.

Try here

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g187069-d1603659-Reviews-Bachers_of_Manchester-Manchester_Greater_Manchester_England.html

... and if you click on the 'CHECK RATES' button you'll get transferred to booking.com website who will accept your credit card details and pass them on to the hotel, if you want to make the booking now. It appears to me less likely that a scammer will manage to get access to this sort of booking system.

I don't like to recommend any site, but you seem to be having a lot of trouble. There's no harm in looking at even scammers' sites as long as you only book through a site you feel confident about.

Hello
I'm Italian and I just booked an apartment on bank transfer findbesthome. I did not understand if you're sure it's a scam or not! I contacted Stephen Perness 00447024037104 and he said by phone and mail that tomorrow he will send the receipt of reservation .Why he continue to respond if they have already done me a scam?
sorry for my English

Hi again..
When i asked her can i do booking via website she said its gonna be expansive so i should just deal with her via email then at 1st she told me to call her to give my credit card details to pay 50% of the booking but then i am a bit worried since i read about credit card scammer too so i insist if i can send money via paypal then she reply that she doesnt have the account and ask me to pay via bank transfer.is this another bad sign..i am so getting tired of all this game by the scammer..how can they survive by manipulating others???
But she even has a review on her service as you attached and facebook of the hotel only thing i wonder how come hotel pics start uploading by nov this year in her fb even has a link to her personal account of fb with her photo..is it really her???really puzzled..

Dear Maurizioruben..**when i got scammed earlier..pls refer my previous post when i got scammed in london..
They do email the invoice but i dont have to refer here its definately a scam
The invoice were typewritten with no company header you know like a stamped header..and its very funny to read if you think about it..
I can show you the invoice if you want.and you of course can call and talked to them the number is valid but the number is redirected no..it will says when you call something like'please wait while you get connected..'then another ringing otherwise they then take the trouble has a partner in uk.
Just do be careful..because i was a victim..lost £1k..

I just got done by Winter and Summer flats as well!

Same deal asking for all the transfer details and stating they had not received the funds.

Their next point of call was asking for me to send further funds via Western Union as another client wanted the accommodation over the period we had booked.

Please do you best to inform the www that this site is a hoax and ripping people off!

What you are doing is for the greater good - keep up the terrific work!
