Some of the red flags to notice whenever you receive a "job offer" from a hotel.

The phone numbers given begin with "4470" - this is a redirect number; you call it, thinking you're calling the UK, but it can be forwarded to a number anywhere in the world (in this case, the Gambia).

The email address given is a yahoo address. I can guarantee that a hotel of that size has a website, and their email addresses will be connected to their website. They would be something like [email protected]. (That's only an example, not to my knowledge a real email address.)

Please be very careful when applying for jobs in other countries. These scams will tell you you have to go through them and pay fees to get your visa and your plane fare. This is not true. If you are serious about working for an establishment like the Golden Nugget, don't click on the links in an email like that. Go to the actual website and find their real phone number and contact information.

Mr Bro in Law got this offer from Nugget Hotel...and i have not revealed to the scammer that i know...am continuing with him, i havent reached the stage where he asks money....let me know what to do next? We need to teach these F****** people a lesson....

Great job posting the information--it will help others and hopefully slow down business a bit for the scammers, (and if the website B8er found proves to be a fake as it most likely is, killing the site will slow them down quite a bit more). However, since they have your real life info, just tell them you found a different job and you are no longer interested. You can always wander over to Eater and pick up some tips for baiting safely to be used on these scammers or others like them.

What does it mean by real life info?....my email address?...coz the passport number i provided to the scammers was a wrong....

If your email was opened under your real name or is used in things that involve your real identity (boards you are interested in, etc.) it is considered real life info--it is actually amazing how much someone can find out about you with just an email address. You have to remember that these people are criminals, and you are deliberately messing with them, which is bound to make them a bit unhappy. It is always better to be cautious.

When we bait, we sign up for our baiting emails under fake names and info, and we don't use baiting addresses for any real life activities (e.g. personal business). There's a lot more info over at Eater about these types of things, this is just very simple overview.
