He claims as he lives in Dublin, Ireland, either divorced or widowed, have 1 child. He likes Asian women rather than western. Father is British, Mother is Italian.
But according to victims who talked with him, pronunciation may be African. This is advance fee scam with romance scam portion.

There are several Asian victim most likely met with same scammer on "World Friends" dating/networking site.

He asks victims to let him know the bank account number so that he will send large amount of money for either start business or buy house at victim's country, and telling victim to input personal information to fake bank site. (The site is now suspended.) The scammer also tells the victims that he is visiting the victim's country, and send his itinerary to each victims. One victim mentioned that when she called the hotel, the hotel said there is booking under name of Brian Harris, most likely booked through booking site with free cancellation.

Several Japanese victims met with same scammer on "World Friends" and "Eigo Town (English Town)" dating/networking sites.

The script is almost same as Brian Harris case in this thread.

1) Scammer claims as Irish, Shaun Logan ([email protected]
[email protected]) let the victim fall in love with him by using internet chat systems such as Skype within 1 month or little more.
2)Scammer tells her that he is visiting Japan (or any other victim's country) after business trip and books flight and hotel using booking sites, forwards booking information email to make the booking looks real. (The booking can be cancelled free of charge.)
3)As he says he wishes to live with the victim woman after he move to her country, he wants to bring large amount of fund (i.e. 8millon USD) with him. But he has no bank account in Japan, so asks women to input her bank account details to the City West Community Bank online banking site, so that he will transfer these funds to her bank account temporarily. 4)The scammer asks her to contact the bank, and banker asks the women to pay tax and transfer fees in advance in order to release the fund to the bank account in Japan. Bank charges unusually high fees to transfer funds open an account (Actual fee not reported by victims but they could come to aware of the scam because of this.).

The fake bank site given by the scammer was citywestcomminityie.com/ie/index-2.html and Brian Harris case was citywestcommunity.com/ie/ (suspended). Most likely same gang or related group of scammers.

The scammer forwarded email from hotel booking site booking.com, to show that his booking at hotel is real. Booking.com can book and cancel hotels free of charge if the booking is not pre-paid package. He also forwarded flight booking confirmation email from [email protected], and booking confirmation# given as 7ACBU1 with the itinerary.

The scammer also sent post card to some victim women, using Ireland postal service.
