This is yet another scammer claiming to be the US seoldier Curtis Scaparrotti. He uses the email address [email protected]. As with all the other "curtis" that are on dating and social networking sites, he is a fake and is only interested in stealing your money.

He also has a profile on Tagged.com under the username Mike C.

Apparently he's using a gmail address now, too... i was in my email and he started chatting with me. I've dealt with scammers before, and he claims he's looking for true love on the internet. He didn't even know who i was or if i was single. I hate these scammers!

Hi there,

I know this story with this same man.
To make a long stoy short he did'nt get anything from me.
I had never in my life heard about Lieutenant General Curtis Scaparrotti.
The funniest thing is i went on research and find all the scam articles.
I was perpared and confront fake Curtis about it. The story is to long to tell you but it is simular to the most romantic scam or scam. If you have question I'll be happy to answer them.
The emailadresses that I had from them is : [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. Becareful with the name Ibrahim Maxewell they use this diplomat his name as a scam. Ibrahim Maxwell is a diplomat from the Uninted Nation.

Hello GabrielDeborah, it is best not to confront scammers. They know what they are, but they will absolutely deny it. It will just irritate you. Best step is to post the scam up here and stop all communications with the scammer.

Please do not point them here. They will just learn from what is posted here and be able to fool more victims. Please post up any other scams you come across.

I don't have any contact with the scammers.
Sinds the day I have post this our conversations were over.
I know he would've deny but I told him that I know and never to contact me again.
I sill have there emails and the forms that they have send me.
No contact with these kind of people.

I am so sorry of the soldiers that have to suffer from identity theft.
Its to sad that they can get away with this. Its to bad that nobody can't trace them who they really are.
My opinion is that they must protect the Identity of the soldiers better, especially the ones in high rank.

Luienant General Curtis Michael Scaparrotti if you might come across this article I am so sorry that I have never heard about so that I could've stop the conversation completly and know that is was a scam. Regardless how the use your name disrespectful I still have the respect for you sir!

This man claimed that he was inlove me I don't think that Lieutenant would ever date a afro european woman.
Maybe I am wrong but I don't think he like brownskin women.
There many more things that makes me suspicious.

this perons as well skyped me no video just texting and within 2 conversations was in love with me and i was his life etc etc etc....totally off the wall i researched the name and he is a veery important man in the service and knew a lot about this geneal but i found all the info on google one thing he go mixed up on was he said whis with was dead and had one child a boy named kelly 12 in school in ghana and he was in kabul.
i really wanted to believe him so i defriended him did more research and the clincher was the lie about the wife oh and he has two kids not one a boy and a girl....he needs to brush up on his fraud...... [email protected]......

there is also a [email protected] who uses messenger and readnotify says the email comes from ghana, uses the state dept. of defence pic. he is also [email protected]

The person with the same name is utilising comfree, also. A member of my family is selling their house and received this email from the email address: [email protected]
