I too have been scammed it was the perfect guy the perfect story. I'm a designer he's an architect
It lasted five months and thousands of dollars. The stories were heartbreaking but they didn't start until my heart was melted. By then you'll do anything for someone you think you love. We met on match.com and believe me he had pictures and personality. he used stories about his daughter and created scenarios of kour future...how beautiful it would be. since I figured him out I have retuned to match and read and re read almost the exact same bio on a few others and now I can spot them a mile away...they will either be divorced with one child or widowed with one child. He goes by David Best. He unlike most of them is in south Africa He was from here when we met two months into the relationship he left to do his contract for the next three months. My heart Wes broken but that will heal. I only hope somehow someway I can help some other woman from being hurt. Ladies be careful. I founds out just days ago one of my best friends fell for some guy posing as a soldier ...I never knew these scams existed. I'm intelligent but no longer gullible oh and another thing...when they want u to send money they have u send it western union to someone else. It keeps their names safe or if they are using alias names they don't have the Id to support picking up the funds. If you ask why they will say its easier for that person to get it to the job site or wherever. As I look back now I know I must have had something raising the hair on the back of my neck as a warning but I was just too emotionally involved...it is embarrassing to admit this story but I feel if I can share it I might just help one other woman before she takes the same leap into the scam abyss it will make my mistake a really good lesson worth sharing.
