I know you might be weary to deal with someone who is overseas but I want you to know that Myself and my family and other Native Americans have been missionaries with Global Ministries for a long time now. We served as missionaries in major parts of the world, we now serve as United Methodist missionaries serving on humanitarian assistance and we arrive West Africa Two weeks Ago in supporting long term needs for clean water in Kenya, Sudan, Mali, Liberia, Burkina Faso, Gambia, Benin,Republic, Nigeria and Ethiopia - providing the everyday needs of more than 389,500 people. Also committed to mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS, which kills more than 6,000 Africans every day, we are supporting community garden programs for AIDS sufferers and their families and also assisting those Internally Displaced Person (IDPS) in Camps due constant Terror attack on innocent citizens from different Terror groups in Africa. So my family and I have decided that we would be moving to our other home when we get back to New York.
I want you to know that you can stay in the apartment as long as you would like to stay as we are not planning on moving back into the apartment. But we would be checking up on you once in a while to ensure that the apartment is well taken cared of, if we come to a conclusion regarding renting our apartment to you, we would also arrange on how to get the Keys and House Documents to you so you can view the apartment before you sign any Document or Lease Agreement.

Thanks for your mail; my entire family and I really appreciate the fact that you have an intention to rent the apartment. I have attached the proof of ownership for you to confirm that I am the owner of the apartment.
I have ask for the payment of the security deposit of $650 to know how serious you are in renting my apartment and to enable us you the key and the paper work to enable you move-in the apartment and I have also ask my wife to stay at home so that once the money is receive, she can now take the key’s and the paper works to the courier delivery company and as soon as it is shipped the tracking number of the shipment will be sent to you which will enable you to monitor the shipment online of the package towards your mailing address which you will receive it in 24-48 hours.
We need someone that would take good care of the apartment and pay the rents at the proper time and give it proper management. I would want you to know that my darling wife is very interested in you moving into the apartment as the new occupant after she went through your mail, both of us have agreed to rent out the lovely home to you. I do hope you will take good care of the apartment as soon as you move in. I would keep my words of been a better and good Landlord to you, while I would need you to assure me of taking good care of the apartment. Like I told you the apartment is empty, it has an air-condition, stove, gas cooker, refrigerator, extra wardrobes.
The monthly rent is $650 only, while the security deposit is $650 to move in, the security deposit would be needed, this will enable me to know how serious you are concerning the apartment.
Right now the apartment is locked and the key and paperwork’s would be sent to you as our new tenant, this will enable you to move in. I want you to know that the apartment will be for rent as long as you wish to stay because of my appointment in Africa will last for 3 years plus, so you are free to chose the numbers of years you want to stay in the apartment.
You will need to pay the security deposit directly to me through my wife because she will be the one sending the keys to you, as soon as the security deposit is been received by me, i will quickly send the keys and the paper works to you via courier delivery without any further delays. The keys will be delivered to you in the next 24 hours of the receipt of the payment information.
You will need to re-confirm your direct address, this will enable the courier service to locate you for delivery.
NOTE: I will be sending the keys along with the paperwork’s, every entrance to each room has 3 spare keys. The receipt of all utilities bills which have been paid for egg: Electric Bills and water, Gas bills, Cable, so I would also need to send the receipts to you, would in case it would be needed.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
