Scammers are children that their mum dropped on the head often because she was often a dropped child. So we have to keep in mind that they are dumb and make dumb moves.

Because they are so dumb they think that they can out smart children that were not repeatedly dropped on the head.

In reality these scammers are not dropped on the head. Most are University educated but find it easier to make money working about 2 hours a day five days a week. Yes, they do take weekends and holidays off, unless a victim is sending money.

Considering that they already have an eBay shopfront (under a different name) would anyone really want to be competing with their own supplier, and why would they want you to do it ?

You'll both be using the same photos so you can only compete with them on cost and it's ludicrous to set up a middleman to undercut yourself.
