what happens when you click the "Details" button? I have a hunch it will display the complete #'s trying to contact you. Since the other one you gave was missing a digit or two.....

I really like the one that claims it was his last SMS, lol.... like, if you can't afford an SMS, how the heck are you going to pay for the item?? ( and we all know the SMS is likely a free VOIP service anyhow).....

Hello, welcome to Scamwarners, I'm sorry you fell victim to this scam. If the package is still at the post office, as soon as they open you can try to recall the package, but there's no guarantee that they can recall it. Make sure you take your emails with you to file a complaint. Also take all of your emails and package information to your local police department to file a report in order to document the scam. They may not be able to do anything but it will at least document the stolen goods.

I got the same thing too. Was selling a used item on mudah.my

Was contacted from this email: [email protected]
And also SMSed me from this number: +601117224291

Told me to ship the item out and that he made a wire transfer via Royal Bank of Canada.
I received a "payment confirmation" from RBC Royal Bank and was told to ship my item out.

Communication was via Whatsapp from this number: +12182359887
Was given another local number for the "receiver": +60146972362
With the following details:

Name - Nabeel Ahmed
Address - A1-03-07 ammanah hostel Uniten putrajaya campus jalan-Ikram Uniten Universiti tenaga nasional
City - Kajang
State - Selangor
Country - Malaysia.
Zipcode - 43009

When I smelled something fishy, I told him I would only do cash-on-delivery. He subsequently complained that the money was already deducted from his account.

At this point, I stopped communication with the "buyer".
