Just to clarify one point from above.

If someone emails you, saying they are from a bank, but instead of an address at the bank's domain, they have a free email address like yahoo or hotmail, then they are scammers.

If someone claims to be a police officer, and he emails you from a free email address, or if he claims to be from the FBI, and he has a free address like a yahoo address, he is a scammer.

To help people who are reading the forum, it is best to keep the information about one scam in a single thread.

The link below is to a thread you started on your scammers, that doesn't have other scammers mixed in it. If you want to post the emails these scammers sent you (remove your own email address first), posting them in that thread may help others to avoid being scammed.
