I signed up with aupair.com and recieved the following email.. I have felt a bit uneasy with certain things but would really like another opinion.

Why did it take you so long to reply my email,YEs we still need your assistance i had to contact the Embassy immediately i received your email....How are you and your family???Fine i hope...well i just contacted the Embassy here not long ago about your traveling Visa/Working Permit and they made ma know that you will be needing at list 1500 Pounds for the documents to Be processed,My phone number +448717942242,we will need you for about 1-12 months or more but thats up to you and you will be having your own private Birth room and Toilet also.i tried to send you some pic but could not go through maybe later Dear.and i will like to know how many you are in your family and how old are you and your hobbies also.

If 'Raly Peranio' is personally advertising for an au pair, then he is undoubtedly a scammer. You can discover this by researching the real requirements for taking employment in the US.
Firstly, if you are looking for any job in the USA, please directly contact the US Embassy in your own country to check the US entry requirements. You can find the genuine US Embassy website here:

I understand that the US Goverment has strict restrictions upon who can run Au Pair programmes legally in the USA. You will also need a J-1 visa.

It´s defenitly a scam!! Is there somewhere we can get together on the internet and talk about this? like on a chat or something..i don´t want to write my email/name here..
